At these sites, you will be able to learn about American history, experience great adventures, and have lots of family-friendly fun. These places are reasonably priced, and some of them offer picnic areas or restaurants so you can also enjoy a meal while you visit. 1. Downtown Square

This is the place in which a lot of the city’s events take place. There’s a farmer’s market every Thursday and Saturday, an art market on Saturdays, and cultural activities every weekend during Spring. The square is surrounded by places to eat, food trucks, and local shops where you can buy local arts and crafts. Definitely, a place for locals to discover and enjoy.  

2. Peel Mansion and Botanical gardens

Learn about how people lived and worked during the late-1800s at this spectacular site. Inside Peel mansion, you can visit the study, parlor, dining room, and even the bedrooms. The house was built in 1874 by Samuel West Peel. Today, it is a testament to Bentonville’s history and a great place to discover more about the city’s heritage. It is surrounded by a beautiful, Victorian-era-style botanical garden. 

3. Museum of Native American History

The museum is dedicated to helping the public learn more about the lives and traditions of first Americans. It was founded by David Bogle, a member of the Cherokee nation, and opened its doors to the public in 2008. The museum is home to a great collection of Native American artifacts and hosts events dedicated to celebrating indigenous cultures.
