Fishing is especially popular here, with bluegill, both large and smallmouth bass, bream, and channel catfish. A world record grass carp was caught here in 2004.

While campsites here don’t have electrical hookups but make up for it by including fire rings, grills, and picnic tables at every site. A picnic pavilion is available to rent for day use only, as is the campground lodge, but each can hold up to 75 and 200 people respectively.

3. Blowing Springs RV Park And Campground

This scenic RV park offers spaces for 64 RVs, as well as primitive areas for tents and picnic areas, make it a great choice for stopping after a hard day’s mountain biking on the trails nearby that wind up into the hills. There are even direct connections to the trails from the campsite, as well as the Back 40 Trail. Each of the sites includes a comfortable grassy area and access to a restroom and shower facility, that also includes a space where you can do your laundry.
