The 2020 Cadenza, according to experts and car-enthusiasts alike, is bound to be a hit with its fresh new style and total redesign. Here are some noteworthy features of this vehicle.

Updated Exterior

Standard for each Cadenza is a large grille, lower front fascia and lights, and LED headlights that have integrated with LED DRL lamps. The 2020 Cadenza comes in two distinct trims: Technology and Limited, as last year’s Premium trim has been dropped. Technology is the base model, boasting a panoramic sunroof and the Cadenza’s standard features, while Limited is the more premium of the two trims.

Smooth Interior

The interior of the Cadenza is the area that received the most changes, and it doesn’t lack in comfort or style. The dashboard and instrument cluster has been redesigned, while a 12.3-inch touch screen that boasts multi-device Bluetooth capabilities has been added to both trims. The seats are leather-trimmed and available in a variety of colors, with the Limited models featuring quilted seat bolsters and LED mood lighting that makes the vehicle go from family-friendly to romantic in a second.

Each vehicle comes equipped with three USB ports for quick charging of mobile devices and an enhanced 10-watt wireless charging feature. Both trims also feature Smart Key technology with remote engine start.

Outstanding Performance

The engine of the 2020 model remains unchanged from last year’s, with each sedan featuring a 3.3-liter V-6. This engine puts out 290 horsepower, which is pretty good for a vehicle of this size, so although the engine hasn’t been updated, it’s still a great feature.

In addition to the respectable engine, this sedan is designed with an eight-speed automatic transmission that works to improve responsiveness and mileage. To reduce NVH levels, manufacturers have installed a reinforced rear sub-frame and resonator wheels. They have also added revamped shock valves and larger rear dampers, both of which aid in the smoothness of handling. Because of its size, the Cadenza has a learning curve when it comes to turning and parking, but overall, the performance of the vehicle is on par with other Kia models.

Useful Safety Features

2020 is a big year for the Cadenza in terms of safety features, with the vehicle using an all-new, highly extensive safety feature package. It uses Kia’s standard Drive Wise — however, this technology has been updated and configured to feature Safe Exist Assist, navigation-based cruise control, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assistance, Lane Follow Assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Highway Driving Assist is one of the newest technologies, quickly changing the vehicle’s speed based upon the posted speeds of federal highways. In addition to the features found in the Drive Wise package, the Cadenza also includes automatic high beam technology.

The 2020 Kia Cadenza is a vehicle to look out for. From its stunning, all-inclusive baseline Technology trim to its premium, technology-driven Limited trim, it’s great for families and individuals alike. You can find your own Cadenza at your local Kia dealership.
