Are you excited about the new 2022 Kia K5? So are we, and it's because of its new and improved features that you'll adore. The 2022 K5 has undergone a series of small tweaks that added some desirable features to the vehicle, so let's explore what's new.
1. The New Logo
All K5 models now feature Kia's brand-new logo. If you're proud of your vehicle's make and model, then you'll enjoy driving around with this logo displayed boldly on your vehicle. It makes your Kia feel a little more like a luxury vehicle, and it adds to your vehicle's excellently stylish appearance.
2. Rear Seat USB Charging Ports
Some Kia K5 models now have USB charge ports in the rear. This is perfect for your passengers' convenience. It can be annoying to have to ask the front seat passenger to plug in all the technology at the front of the vehicle, so now passengers can handle their own charging needs with ease in the back.
3. All-Wheel Drive Is Now Available on All Models
Previously, the Kia K5 line only offered all-wheel drive and some higher terms. However, now all-wheel drive is standard on the base model. This ensures that you don't have to pay any extra for all-wheel-drive, and this makes tackling the roads in tricky weather and on difficult terrain accessible for drivers with a lower budget.
4. Larger Touchscreen and Upgraded Tech
Some Kia K5 models now come with a standard 10.3-inch touchscreen. This replaced an 8-inch touchscreen which was previously the standard. Having a larger infotainment display lets you see all the graphics more easily. That's particularly fantastic for drivers who struggle to see graphics clearly on small screens.
Having a larger display will also make it easier for anyone to see, even if you don't have trouble seeing small objects. Having an infotainment system that is easy to see lets you keep your eyes on the road, as you won't need to focus so much on the infotainment screen. This upgraded infotainment system also has customizable profiles for different drivers, so it's not just its size that's new and improved.
5. A New Camera System
Some Kia K5 models now have a 360-degree camera system. This lets you get a surround-view, and the feeds from all the cameras are stitched together on your infotainment screen to provide an unbroken, 360-degree visual. This will make you feel safer when you're driving, and it's incredibly useful while parking or while driving in crowded areas.
Power folding exterior mirrors and front parking sensors also help with making parking easier in tight spaces. With your mirrors folded, you'll be able to squeeze into tight parking spaces. And of course, the front parking sensors add ease and safety when you're in a challenging parking spot.
